A recognized leader in advanced cyber threat analysis, Mr. Scheurkogel leads the threat analysis capability at Cytelligence, adding industry experience to a decade of military intelligence experience. As the former lead for the Department's all-source cyber intelligence assessment capability, which was the largest team of its kind within the Government of Canada, Mr. Scheurkogel was responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate provision of cyber intelligence across tactical, operational, and strategic levels.
As the innovation lead, Mr. Scheurkogel develops effective programs to help clients with complex business transformation, major technological upgrades, and incident response optimization. He has also leads Cytelligence’s effort to examine emerging and foreign markets for new tools and solutions that can be leveraged to provide value to Canadian customers. A passionate innovator, he is credited with pioneering new defensive tactics and capabilities, developing cyber operational models and knowledge management systems, innovating new approaches for cyber threat monitoring, and authoring the Canadian Armed Forces Defensive Cyber Operations Concept. Mr. Scheurkogel has been published multiple times for articles on threat intelligence, enabling executives to succeed, and maximizing investment value for IT security.
Mr. Scheurkogel is a skilled presenter who has been called upon routinely to present at domestic and international cyber and intelligence conferences, as a guest speaker at DND and Government of Canada cyber courses, a Keynote speaker, and as a guest lecturer at universities in Canada and the USA.
